Belgrade-based curator and critic Jelena Vesic and I are working on a new research and performance project exploring the concept of ‘neutrality’ or ‘neutralisation’ in terms of its use in political and aesthetical position-taking within different international relations, especially as a response to discrepancies of power. A first stage of Notes was performed for comment at the Museum of Yugoslav History as part of at Travelling Communique, 2014, reinvestigating the legacies of the Non-aligned Movement.
